A Treasure from Childhood: My Deportivo de La Coruña Signed Football

Back when I was a kid, one of the things my parents (lovingly) forced me to do was go to the training grounds at Acea de Ama to watch the legendary Deportivo de La Coruña team. This was the era of “Super Depor”, a team that made history in Spanish and European football. In retrospect I’m very happy that they helped and encouraged me to get a few signatures from the players.

The signatures have faded over the years, a reminder of the passage of time, but the memories are as vivid as ever. To preserve what’s left, I’ve applied a fixative varnish and placed the ball in a display case.

The Finished Piece

Here is the ball now, a piece of my personal history, safely preserved.

Proof and Memories

And here’s the proof! A few pictures of a younger me with some of the players.

This football is more than just an object; it’s a time capsule. It represents a golden era for my city’s team.
